6 Years and Counting

Mrs M and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary by taking a small trip to Fort Worth last weekend.  In a stroke of genius back in 2003, we put our wedding on labor day weekend in 2009.  Unlike others who I know made certain their wedding wasn’t on a WVU home game (for good reason – no one would have attended ;) our timing was luck but all that studying of the calendar did help during those first weeks in England.

Thinking back on the six years, it seems like yesterday and like it was six years ago.  England, India, New York, trips to Australia, Hearing Concern, London Business School, AXA, Infosys and our time in Texas makes for quick weeks and even quicker years.  Reviewing the activities that came with those highlights and the list gets very long, very quickly.

I’ve always been impressed with Mrs. M’s decision making ability and good judgment (geez, look at who she married :) ) but also her grace, beauty and spirit.  She’s my best friend and the love of my life. Her tolerance and patience have also helped oil to the engine.

Happy Anniversary!

love,

Obama will seek to delay photos release – White House- msnbc.com

Obama decided he did not feel comfortable with the photos release, and was concerned it would inflame tensions in Iraq and Afghanistan, put U.S. soldiers at higher risk and make the U.S. mission in those two wars more difficult, according to White House officials.
