Once upon a time I wanted an alternative ending to Titanic. Instead of the ship sinking it would have made the journey across the Atlantic. Of course, it just becomes soft porn in that version.
But, until then, I have the bunnies…

8.22 am , cup of coffee, summer sun beating down outside, 1 fundraising application to write, 1 dentist appointment to attend.
The 29th birthday extravaganza was a lot of fun. Alissa took me to the Hard Rock Cafe’ for dinner after work. Apparently, the HRC in London is the very first. Born in 1971, the HRC started as a small diner themed with Rock & Roll and slowly grew into one of the most recognised and iconic brands of the 80’s and 90’s.
I still remember the Hard Rock t-shirts were the epitome of cool in elementary and junior high school. This quickly followed by OP and Polo shirts. True to my form of running just a little behind, my first Hard Rock shirt should be ordered in a few days as my final birthday present.

Today, I turn 29 or to be more precise I have lived 28 full years and as of today start attempting to complete my 29th year.
I can’t say the last year has been a banner one, in fact, I’m damn glad it’s over. My relationship with Alissa is stronger than ever and I’m very excited to be going to LBS but even more excited to be leaving HC.
Where will 29 take me? Away from HC and back into school. Away from Wimbledon to Swiss Cottage or Maida Vale. Away from structure and back to chaos and adventure.
Where does the time slip by? I remember an employee of my dad’s at my 18th birthday party telling me that everything moves faster after 18. Nine years later, almost in the blink of an eye, I have to agree.
So much has happened but it all went by so quickly. College, traveling, work, Jaycees, marriage, England, work with a few stops for Diet Coke, Easy Cheese, problems, solutions, Internet and romance. A summary of life up-until-now.
Next year: work, vacation, MBA-year 1, Oz’ for Christmas, romance, coffee, internship, future.
Somehow I bet 29 will move pretty quickly, too.
