Heard today that John Kerry is launching an innovative new sign and poster for his campaign. It’s a multiple view poster that shows one thing when walking in one direction and another when walking the opposite.
Sources close to the Kerry campaign say that the new design will help them keep track and promote all of Kerry’s positions on important areas of the election
One poster for instance:
We shouldn’t be in Iraq, an unjust war …
and from the other direction
Why didn’t we address this problem earlier, I would have invaded much sooner
Apparently when hearing about the new signs Al Gore immediately claimed that he invented them in 2000 but the Supreme Court and 271 electoral votes kept them from being distributed.
Designed and manufactured from Moderate Productions, these signs will certainly sell quickly or maybe they won’t. Moderate Productions, while not known in the US, has a storied history in Europe having worked in Poland, France and a number of European countries in the late ’30s behind then spokesman Neville Chamberlain.

Most of my work day is spent looking for files on my computer. I’ve already been playing with Google’s desktop search but I’ve found another one today.

Oh, this is probably a good time to plug one of my favorite email newsletters, WinXPNews.
Good writing and some clever tips. http://www.winxpnews.com

I’m proud to say that over the last two months I have lost about 15 pounds. Or, approximately 1 stone in the English system. This is the third time I’ve lost a large amount of weight in my life. Once at 12 (40 pounds), once in college (60 pounds) and now. The overall concept is that if I even think about bad food or lose concentration then I start growing like an old growth tree.
During a conversation yesterday at our gym, a friend of both Alissa and I mentioned that he really thought that my weight loss looked good and that it made me look younger? Younger? When did I cross that line? During the first two rounds, I looked better – hey want to get a drink after class better – or healthier, but younger?
It’s not that I fear growing up or becoming old. Frankly, being young (with the notable exception of college) isn’t that much fun. Acne, primary-middle-high school (sorry all you folks who thought those were the good old days) , crappy jobs filing papers, and the rest of the joys of earning respect tend to disappear with hard work and a little age.
Older is better in my mind. As an old email joke goes, look at the alternative. Just looking younger hasn’t ever been an issue and I had no idea that I looked older two months ago. More inspiration for the weight loss programme; it isn’t just a way to keep my current clothes fitting but every skipped snack makes me look younger.
Vain? Probably but who isn’t?
